Suzannah Marriott Miller

Sewing has become a lost art and an under appreciated trade, but recently it has seen a small revival amongst creative youth who are increasingly expressing a desire to learn the art and technicalities of sewing.

 

I am a holder of a first class degree with honours (4.0 Canadian) from the UK in Costume design with textiles. Through my background and experiences I strive to bring a quintessential English flair to my sewing classes. 

 

“Suzannah’s summer sewing school” has been hosted by Theatre Northwest for the last two years and has been a great success! Having proven popular with both youth (8-18 years) and adults. I have been fortunate enough to have  the opportunity to teach hundreds of children and adults through these classes and inspire those who attend to learn and improve their skills in the precious and important art that is sewing.
