TEXTILE SAMPLES
Suzannah Marriott Miller
Turning a white piece of cloth into something unique is a passion of mine. Using techniques such as embroidery, dying, felting, weaving, knitting, and printing can transform a simple scrap of cloth into something entirely different. Some of Suzannah’s recent favourite techniques are Rust Staining and the Japanese art of Shibori. Textile ideas come from both primary sketchbook designs as well as secondary research. Suzannah uses her textiles in costume design and construction.
